C3 YOUTH PROGRAMME

Commitment. Communication. Consistency.

A youth community built around mentoring, skills, volunteering, social action and opportunities for young people to explore what they can become.

01 — WHAT IS C3?

A place to explore, express and grow.

C3 connects young people with informed, caring and experienced role models while creating practical opportunities beyond music lessons.

The programme includes life-skills training, work placements, Duke of Edinburgh volunteering opportunities, entrepreneurial projects and community initiatives. Its aims include building confidence, bridging aspiration gaps and helping young people take greater responsibility for their future.

01

Confidence

Build self-esteem through responsibility, creativity and shared experiences.

02

Skills

Develop practical skills across projects, marketing, teamwork, design and basic business activity.

03

Mentoring

Connect mentees with positive role models and peer-support opportunities.

04

Volunteering

Take part in community projects and opportunities linked to Duke of Edinburgh programmes.

05

Work experience

Gain exposure to workplace expectations, communication and professional environments.

06

Community

Bring young people, families, volunteers and the wider community together.

Young people making a difference.

C3 turns confidence into contribution. Young people, volunteers, trustees and staff work together on practical projects supporting local families, organisations and people experiencing hardship.

The Christmas Hamper Campaign has prepared and distributed around 250 hampers. Creative enterprise and fundraising projects also build teamwork, planning and communication skills with a genuine community purpose.

Support youth-led community action ↗

More than a weekly session.

Workshops, cooking, music, trips and shared challenges give young people new settings in which to practise communication, independence and teamwork.

The result is a programme where relationships and life skills grow through doing—not through lectures.

Start with an expression of interest.

C3 enrolment normally begins in September. Tell the Templesprings team about the young person and they can explain availability, suitability and the next step.
